Working days = Monday to Saturday. Sundays and public holidays add one day to the estimate.
How we calculate delivery fees
Every quote shows the itemised delivery cost before payment. The rate is built from three inputs:
- Region – from our published delivery regions table.
- Weight tier – 0–20 kg, 21–50 kg, 51–150 kg, 151–500 kg, 500 kg+ (heavy).
- Volume / bulk surcharge – for bulky low-weight items (water tanks, large solar panels, PV mounting frames).
For orders above 500 kg or that need a crane / forklift, we quote transport separately after checking access at the delivery site.
Free delivery
Free Kampala metro delivery on orders above UGX 3,000,000 (excluding VAT). Free upcountry bus parcel delivery on orders above UGX 5,000,000. Free delivery does not include offload for heavy equipment.
Heavy & industrial equipment
- Diesel generators above 20 kVA are delivered with offload assistance.
- Container-mounted (sound-proof) sets need a Hiab / crane truck at the delivery site – we can arrange this at cost.
- Confirm access dimensions (gate width, ramp, floor loading) before delivery. Return trips due to access issues are charged.
Pickup from our branches
Selecting Pickup at checkout waives delivery entirely. We SMS/WhatsApp you when your order is ready to collect, along with the branch address, working hours and a 4-digit collection PIN. Bring the PIN and a valid ID; someone else can pick up on your behalf using the PIN and a copy of the ID.
Installation & commissioning
Optional professional installation is available on generators, solar systems, pumps and welders. Ask for an installation quote when requesting your order – it is written on the same invoice so warranty stays intact.
Tracking & proof of delivery
On dispatch you receive a WhatsApp with the driver's name, vehicle plate and ETA. At delivery, the driver captures a signature or a photo of the goods on-site as proof of delivery. You can also track any order at your account > orders.
Insurance
Goods travel at our risk until you sign for them. Please inspect on delivery – any transit damage must be reported to the driver on the spot and photographed. See our Returns policy.
