- The COVAX CV8500LD-E2 is a heavy-duty portable petrol generator designed to provide reliable backup power for larger Ugandan homes, small businesses, construction sites, and events. Delivering a solid 6.0kW of continuous power (6.5kW maximum), it can comfortably run multiple high-draw appliances including refrigerators, deep freezers, salon equipment, water pumps, and lighting circuits.
- A standout feature of this model is the integrated ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) socket. When paired with a compatible ATS panel (sold separately), this generator can automatically turn on when grid power fails and shut off when power returns, offering seamless backup convenience.
- Built for the demands of the East African market, it features a rugged steel frame, a built-in 12V battery for effortless electric starts, dual 220V AC output sockets with circuit breaker protection, and heavy-duty wheels for portability. The analogue voltmeter allows for easy monitoring of power output to keep your sensitive electronics safe.
